You’d be joining a long-established food manufacturing business with a great family feel and culture.

The operation supplies produce to major supermarkets, and you’ll be looking at the processes, production lines, engineering, facilities and of course people making this all happen.

Supporting and assist the Health and Safety Manager and site management team on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety. With this you’ll educate and influence around the business, ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted and communicated at all levels.  

This is a multi-site role with different people & processes so plenty of variety on offer here!

Whilst monitoring and reviewing the protective and preventative safety measures and assisting in minimising operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents, and injuries across all company business units.

About you

• A health and safety background in manufacturing
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislation
• Audit / Inspection experience
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work co-operatively with others and able to communicate effectively to all levels
