About Our Client
We are currently working with a premium fresh produce grower who has been long established and well respected for many years. As well as supplying the retailers with whole head crop, they have also diversified into an added value processor as well.
About the Job
At a time when the business is going through some very exciting developments and the business is growing considerably - they are looking for a new vacancy to manage their Logistics and Despatch. Responsible an Assistant Manager and two supervisors you will be responsible for picking, administration and loading.
This role can genuinely grow and develop into a more senior, significant place in the business so the opportunity is right for an ambitious individual.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking to speak with experienced and knowledgeable Logistics and Despatch professionals who have a proven track record managing departments or facilities and are naturally good people managers. Although the role can develop, they are requiring a hands-on approach - someone willing to get stuck in, jump on a fork lift and make sure the job is done.
Experience in fresh produce or agriculture is highly desirable but not essential.
