Are you a National Account Manager who could do more with your career?

Are you managing the relationships with key retailers but lacking the autonomy to really kick your career on?

Do you want to progress your career (who doesn't, right?!) within a small and dynamic team within a business that is due to nearly double its turnover in the next ~year?

What Would You Be Doing?
You'll be managing key relationships with the major retailers (2 of the top 4), discounters, convenience retail and perhaps also supporting some B2B sales. You'll utilise your experience to drive sales and deliver commercial results. We all know that cost price increases are currently very tough, but also necessary. Whilst many of the tenders have already been secured, there might be some pricing conversations to be had in the future and always promotional plans to discuss etc.

You'll enjoy taking a data-driven approach to account management that can deliver JBP's and clear insight and actions to deliver sales.

With the business set to double in size, it's a great opportunity for someone to come on board and put their stamp on things to see the business succeed.

Where Would You Be Doing it?
Our client is pretty pragmatic and flexible on this. There will be a fair amount of flexibility to work remotely if that is what you prefer or you can come into the office more regularly. There will be the need to travel to the office for customer meetings.

You may also need to get on a plane to visit customers or suppliers in Europe, so if you're scared of flying, this might not be for you.

What You'll Need
All the things you'd expect from a national account manager. Experience in managing a big grocer, rapport-building skills, a can-do attitude, someone who likes working towards targets, strong excel skills and highly numerate. You'll also need a valid passport and a driving license.
