QA Officer/Quality Officer/Technical Compliance

What would the world (& food industry) be without those people who are most comfortable sitting pretty (or handsomely) at a desk, reviewing documents and being the 'go to person' for support? We'd likely all be very hungry and sick of eating rubbish products and not getting our complaints listened to.

I'm recruiting for a what we are calling a QA Officer BUT this is an office based role working what everyone seems to want, Monday-Friday 'office hours' so no more time spent in the cold factories working unsociable hours. You will have a number of responsibilities falling at your feet but to give you an idea you will be working closely with the Technical Manager updating supplier documents, completing customer questionnaires, raising non- conformances, monitoring customer complaints and a whole load more that we can discuss.

This role will suit a food/science graduate who has experience working in the food industry as a factory QA, QA team leader/supervisor but wanting to get away from the PPE fashion trend and into a role where you can chose your own clothes and have your nails painted.

You are probably wondering what sort of business needs a QA but isn't a manufacturing site....well they are nearing 100 years established, serving retailers, wholesalers, B2B with all protein based products you could possibly think of. I understand you have thoughts going through your mind, why would I apply for something new when I am quite secure in my current role? Well, this company have a turnover that would make the Kardashian's bank account look low. There is more security working for these than all the security guards in the world could offer.
