Snr Demand Planner / Planning Manager - FMCG
Circa 40-45k + Benefits
Working hours – Mon – Fri with occasional shift cover.
Norwich – Hybrid working

The Demand Planning function leads key contact, communications & work to improve supply chains.
What would you be doing?...
From looking at customer orders, buying trends, promotions, and seasonal uplifts you’ll be working out an analysis on a variety of data & communications from the customers!
Staying ahead of the game is key and you will focus on the medium to long terms requirements of the needs of the customer and the business. The forecast is key, and you own this process!
In conjunction with customers & internal teams supply chain teams, you will focus on finding improvements, solutions essentially bringing all the elements together to produce excellent products & a great supply chain.
Working through a variety of software and tools, excel, specialised ERP systems to collate the plans, always forecasting and analysis with a view of continuous improvements.
You’ll lead, guide & develop 2 Demand Planners in the team.
- Manage supermarket accounts
- Provide the Materials/Packaging team with long term views.
- Work with commercial teams to maximise sales opportunities
- Mentor & support Demand Planner
- Define and manage goals, performance, and accountability measures to ensure the forecasting team are meeting timelines and working efficiently to provide high levels of service to internal and external counterparts.

Exposure to Demand Planning is advantageous as is being a Senior Planner / Manager.
- Excel skills – intermediate - advanced level
- Loves working with data

- FMCG Industry experience
- Planning/ERP Based software knowledge
