As Buyer reporting into the Senior Category Manager, you'll be joining a fast-paced business that supplies a variety of Foodservice products across various locations. They serve quality food and drinks to customers in sectors such as Contract Caterers, Corporate Fine Dining, Visitor attractions, Education, Healthcare, and Event Caterers.

Everyone in the business has a shared passion for food that fuels emotional positivity as well as physical wellbeing. They are experts in catering and hospitality and proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences that they source, prepare, and present.

The role as Buyer offers the opportunity to climb the ladder in the buying office where you'll work in an environment exposed to professional people with bags of experience. This is a great place to learn and develop whilst progressing your career in purchasing and Foodservice.

As Buyer you'll be identifying and delivering cost reduction opportunities across the business. You'll also be supporting the Category Managers to drive and implement best practice procurement processes. Improving operational stakeholder engagement is also key to ensure that value for money, innovation, quality, service, and cost savings are achieved.

This role will suit a Junior Buyer or someone who has been in a similar position that is ready to step up to their next challenge to progress their career.

You will need to have had experience of buying products in a Foodservice /Food Retail or an FMCG environment to be considered for this role.
