Quality Assurance Operative / QA - Fresh Produce

Our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce Importer with key relationships with the major retailers. We currently offer the opportunity of Quality Assurance Operative / QA to join the team in a fundamental role to ensure the successful supply of product to retail customers.

The opportunity available as Quality Assurance Operative / QA will work as part of the quality assurance team to assess product on arrival, product in storage, and product being packed and despatched. Fresh product assessment must be in accordance with customer specification and all discrepancies must be reported and actioned as efficiently as possible.

Key responsibilities include;
Product arrival inspection
Work to and achieve daily KPI's
Report any issues or defects in a timely manner
Maintain a high level of Hygiene and Health & Safety
Ensure all product packaging meets expected standards

We require;
Experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance role
Fresh Produce knowledge advantageous, ideally Fruit & Salad
Good attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Location: Dartford, Kent
Salary; £10.00-11.46 per hour

Shift; 4-on - 4-off; 7.00am - 7.00pm
