A newly created role for a Graduate due to complete their studies in 2022, to assist the Chief Financial Officer, a main Board Director, of this privately owned fresh produce group with annual sales in excess of £400m.

The position, based Paddock Wood in Kent, will support the CFO across his brief which includes IT, Property, Strategy, ESG, Legal and Financial Management & Reporting. It is expected the successful candidate will work for between 12-18 months in the role before being offered opportunities for further progression within the group. This is a site based role and candidates will be required to commute on a daily basis.

You will be due to attain a good degree and be able to demonstrate a passion for the fresh food sector and developing a management career around commercial or business administration roles.

We are seeking a confident, thoughtful, proactive personality excited by the opportunity to work with senior colleagues across the group and key advisors to the business. You will have strong analytical skills, be capable of bringing simplicity to complex scenarios, possess a curious mind and a progressive outlook.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Support in cross-divisional/ functional coordination and data collection
  • Consolidate and synthesize reports from across the Group
  • Prepare and format presentation slides for management reporting
  • Research and analysis; modelling, analytics and project management
  • Engage in projects to deliver business improvement
  • Scheduling, organising and coordination of meetings
  • Maintain confidential relationships on behalf of Chief Financial Officer
  • Draft correspondence and emails
  • Coordinate travel plans/setting up conference calls, meeting/greeting clients and other visitors
