Technical Services and Project Manager - 80K - Health Care and 8% matched contribution pension

To be responsible for building, maintaining and implementing a robust Quality System to meet legal requirements and customer Codes of Practice and Guidelines. Also responsible for overall site leadership when required and has overall technical responsibility for site improvement projects.

This is a key role within the Technical department and Senior Management Team. The role will have interactions with all internal disciplines. Responsibility for the technical services function, auditing, project management and leading change management across the site.  Liaison with Central Technical, external laboratories services, customers, industry centre of excellence, Environmental Health and Trading Standards.

  • To lead the technical services function for the site ensuring legislative compliance to food safety To interface directly with the customer regarding technical projects, compliance to food safety and quality issues To ensure that procedures are in place and implemented to manage food safety and quality systems e.g. HACCP, GMP, Allergens, Integrity, TACCP

To interface with external bodies with regards to compliance audits e.g. BRC & follow up any non-conformances with robust, timely action plans
