Mon-Fri 8.30am – 5pm

From talking to many professionals in Food Safety, Technical and Quality over the years the opportunity to develop through factory floor to office based and latterly to senior management can be difficult to navigate to the right destination.

We have an opportunity that takes much of that away and offering a brand new position with an extremely positive business that specialises in the production of a range of high quality sauces, condiments and preserves.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager you will be looking after a range of products and customers to produce the required compliance insuring the integrity and quality of any of our produce.

The customer base is varied across Supermarkets, Food Service and also end users all with different needs and from receiving specifications you’ll guide the business on the required compliance factors.

Key responsibilities:-

• Receiving customer specifications
• Customer contact
• Supplier & raw materials approvals & assessments
• Bill of materials
• Update SAP systems
• Supply chain vulnerability
• Product labelling
• Auditing

The right person

We are looking for an experienced Food Quality professional who is looking for an office based position where they can further develop their appreciation and knowledge.

You’ll be passionate about food safety, taking a keen eye to having a great finished product and the various steps to produce consistent results each and every time.

There are various roles that could have given you this experience such as a QA, QA Supervisor, Technologist, Assistant Technical Manager, Technical Services Manager etc.

Alternatively you may be a Graduate in food science looking to put your education into good use.

The key criteria needed to progress your application.

• Knowledge of food safety in manufacturing
• Appreciation of compliance and regulatory factors
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail – not much gets past you
• Want and drive to uphold excellent standards
