QC Technician

QC / Quality Control - Dorchester - £23-24k DOE

My client, a successful food manufacturer located on the outskirts of Dorchester, Dorset, is looking to recruit a QC / Quality Control person for their growing site. The successful QC / Quality Control will play an important part of the site Technical Team and will be working Monday - Friday 07:00-16:00hrs (42.5 hr week). This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company in a day based role.

The role of the QC / Quality Controller will involve:

·Ensuring samples of incoming materials, product, services etc are collected and tested as per schedule
·Carrying out compliance internal audits on line, hygiene & fabrication etc Escalate and raise non conformances as appropriate
·Carrying out packaging /labelling checks on line to ensure compliance to site standards.
·Review of product quality at end of life and trend results.
·Assisting in customer complaint investigations.

The successful QC must have previous:
·Food / Drink Factory QC experience
·Have good IT skills
·Have an excellent eye for detail
·Be a good communicator / be a people person
The role pays a salary of circa £23-24k DOE and will be paid weekly. This role is commutable from Dorchester, Poundbury, Weymouth, Yeovil, Blandford Forum, Sherborne

This role may also suit a person that has previously worked in QC, QA, food graduate, technical assistant, food graduate, graduate administrator, line leader.
