Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Our client is a leading multi-national food manufacturer & packaging organisation, supplying into all the supermarkets. They are looking for an experienced Site Services Engineer to manage the site services function of the engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities:

*Hands-on leading a small team of site services engineers
*Responsible for all site services and utilities within a busy food manufacturing environment
*Ensure that everything is operating effectively, reliably and efficiently
*Managing steam, refrigeration, water, gas, electricity and pressure systems
*Ensure the at the site has appropriate accreditation/permits and operates within legal compliance
*Responsible for maintaining effluent, water treatment, boilers, steam systems & BMS
*Directing and monitoring all site services contracts/suppliers and managing contractors on site
*Provide cover for the maintenance manager when he is absent
*Prioritising spend/resources - working very closely with the maintenance manager on budgets
*Generating ideas and capital list, involving suppliers/contractors to get to proposal stage
*Writing CAPEX's and implementing site service projects

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

*Have previous supervisory/leadership experience or in a management role
*Happy to be a hands-on manager, leading a small team, including contractors
*Be an experienced site services engineer - electrically biased
*Must have previously worked within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
*Desirable to have a BOAS accreditation
*Dealt with steam systems, boilers, water treatment & effluent plant
*An understanding of budgetary management & CAPEX
*Project management skills
*Knowledge of legal compliance and site service accreditations
*Flexible to step in for the maintenance manager and work some evenings/weekends if needed
*Experience of using Microsoft and computerised maintenance management systems

Shifts & Benefits Package:

*Hours:-Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
*Salary:- £45,000
