Salary - Competitive
Hours - 12 hrs (4 in 7 days)

About Our Client

We are currently working with a very successful and growing Transport business. Currently running a fleet of around 40 trucks, they serve some of the largest local larger scale haulers.

About the Job

Reporting directly to the Transport Operations Manager, the key focus is to oversee and take control of the Night Shift Planning. With expansion and growth in mind within this transport operation, the business is customer-focused, providing the highest quality of service available. The business is looking to upscale its Operation, so the role will be par to a growing planning team and the introduction of a night shift. You will ultimately help plan routes and traffic, with a strategic mindset to what you are doing.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful individual will have a proven background in Transport Planning. This will ideally come from within in a fast-paced environment supplying customers within the Food, Fresh Produce, or FMCG industries. It is vital that you are able to and have experience of, thinking strategically and identifying improvements, improvements that can be made the planning function, along with the ability to plan correctly, time-effective routes for the drivers within the business.
