Are you an experienced Production Shift Manager within the food or drink manufacturing industry?

The business – A large food manufacturer. Although a highly profitable site, there was a need to modernise. There’s been a lot of change over the past 12 months and they’re starting to see the culture and operational performance move in the right direction. As you can imagine, there’s still a lot of work to be done…

Your role – As you’d expect, your day to day role will focus on delivering production, focussing on safety, quality and performance (in that order). Aside from your day to day, you’ll work closely with your team on the floor, engaging them, coaching, developing and driving both performance and improvements through them.

What challenges are you likely to face? – although they’ve started the ‘change’ journey, at 12 months in, you’ll know that it’s only just begun. There’s still some work to be done around improving the culture, changing mindsets and a lot of work to do to make the operation even more efficient.

What experience do you need? – because of the complexity of the operation, your experience in food or drink manufacturing is vital. As is your experience of engaging, developing and driving performance and change through your teams.
