The Role

We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals, capable of working in a busy, team driven environment. Reporting to the Cell Leader, you will be working within a team inside the factory assisting with preparing, packaging, and other steps along the production process.

If you have previous Factory/FMCG experience, particularly in the Fresh Produce industry, we would be very keen to hear from you.

Operator:

Typical duties include, but are not restricted to:

• Working on the production lines
• Wrapping and packaging
• Sorting and grading for quality standard
• Preparing various products for packaging and dispatch

Skilled Operator

Typical duties include, but are not restricted to:

• Operation and monitoring of production line machinery
• Packaging
• Machine changeover protocol for product changes
• Operating equipment to achieve the highest efficiencies possible
• Record accurate production records
• Ensuring all cleaning procedures are carried out correctly
• Short interval control
• Operator supervision where applicable

Reporting to the Cell Leaders, Operatives will be pivotal team members, working to ensure that customer standards are maintained at all times, along with a safe clean, working environment. Candidates will be required to follow set procedures and work at a fast pace, so good communication skills are essential in order to work within the team

Please note this position involves, repetitive physical movement, working in a temperature controlled (3 to 5ºc) environment and will involve periods of long standing. Occasional heavy lifting may also be required.

The Hours:

These vacancies are for full time, permanent, day shift positions with a fixed 12-hour shift pattern, 4 days on and 4 days off.

Requirements:

Operator

• Good communication skills – English Level 2
• Attention to detail
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Strong Team Player
• Able to work under pressure & to deadlines
• Positive attitude, Flexibility, Hard-worker

Skilled Operator

• Good communication skills – English Level 3
• Previous experience operating processing machinery
• Good attention to detail
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Strong Team Player
• Positive attitude, Flexibility, Hard-worker
