Raw Materials Manager

Raw Materials Manager - c35k plus benefits 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Overseeing and accountability at all sites, storage and distribution of raw material product safety, quality, and legality
 Management and approval of all raw material suppliers, risk assessment and product suitability through assessment and system management controls
 Schedule, manage and control visits and audits in supply chain as required against risk assessments
 Manage Raw Material QA Team
 To personally ensure that all aspects of Due Diligence (Food Safety, Quality and Legislation) are adhered to.
 To personally take the appropriate and reasonable action in the event of witnessing a breach (or potential breach) of Food Safety, Quality or Legislation.

KNOWLEDGE & SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS

Essential:
 Demonstrable background in Technical Management
 Extensive knowledge of raw material and supplier requirements
 Proven technical management and organisational skills
 Demonstrable experience in co-ordinating and conducting supplier audits
 Proven project management and co-ordination
 Supplier Customer contact experience and conducting Supplier led audits
 Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis
 Ability to liaise with suppliers, customers or certification bodies
 Present data in various formats to provide accessible points supplier performance monitoring, reporting and trending
 Proven management of personnel
 Change management and continuous improvement
