About the Role

Working on the Preparation Line with other operatives, your primary role is to work as part of a line team with a certain amount of speed.

You will be required to handle produce, using knife skills to prepare vegetables to our customer requirements, there can be separating florets of broccoli/cauliflower, slicing sweet potatoes into wedges, removing the cores from peppers etc. 

The role will involve some light lifting and standing for the duration of your shift.

Subject to shift end times which are variable, you will be provided 2 x 30 minutes unpaid breaks.

Full training will be given and all PPE Equipment is provided including complimentary thermal socks.

Previously experience in a production or manufacturing environment would be preferable.

About You

You will be a great team player, reliable, hardworking and have a “can do” attitude working with your team.

You must be able to work under pressure and to strict production deadlines and work targets.

Candidates must be able to work in a climate control refrigeration environment, The temperature in the Preparation Department is between 5-16 degrees.

Basic English is essential
