About Our Client
This is an excellent opportunity to manage an operation on shift within a successful and well-respected Fresh Produce business who are committed to supplying an excellent standard of product to the UK retail sector
About the Job
They are looking for a Shift Operations Manager to support and assist the senior management team; ensuring the production is running efficiently, delivering against daily targets.
You will be responsible for leading and coaching your team, delivering against the business plan and promoting and encouraging values. You will assist the senior team to achieve KPI's / goal requirements and provide a communication route for the day-to-day operations to the Depot Manager.
You will be working a 5 in 7 shift pattern; 40 hours per week.
The Ideal Candidate
To be a successful candidate, you will be a strong people manager coming from the either the fresh produce supply chain or food manufacturing sectors. This is a new site with some very exciting technology so anyone with good experience of automation would be welcome to apply.
Our client is happy to look at either candidates currently at Supervisor level looking to make a step up or experienced Managers.
It goes without saying, you will have excellent communication skills along with the ability to plan and manage your work load accordingly.
