Fresh vacancy for an experienced Process Developer to join my ambitious client, operating in exciting product categories, across multiple retailers.
Salary range from 40 to 55k plus car or car allowance.

Responsible For
Responsible for converting product development into successful launch of products/ranges on time, to critical path and with maximum impact.
Responsible for process improvements on site to maximise output, yield and internal/external customer satisfaction.
Purpose
To land new products or improve existing products through cross functional project management so that the business can meet customers' needs more effectively.
Key duties
Act as lead on site to deliver Plant based development as handed over from Product Developers to agreed dates and costs.
Identify process and product opportunities within site to maximise output, yield and performance.
Control recipes and processes at site from concept to launch. Ensure all NPD work is in line with company procedures and is validated and documented at every step
Develop & agree QAS which meet the needs of the customer and are in line with process capabilities
Run trials at site as required during development and feedback to wider group.
Represent NPD on the Site HACCP team to ensure all products launched are safe, legally compliant, authentic and to the agree quality standards
Able to work as part of a multi-functional site team and communicate with staff at all levels
Produce samples for internal & customer presentations, working hands-on in the kitchen whenever necessary, but also understanding manufacturing sites capabilities.
Keep up to date with technological changes in the food industry and identify opportunities for packaging & product development.
Ensure we deliver against divisional commercial targets.
Continue to develop a direct & positive relationship with all internal & external teams.Ensure appropriate communication internally, with retail partners and across manufacturing sites.
Monitor market place for potential prospective suppliers.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Food based degree.
Experience
Experience in FMCG product development/process development role.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively in reactive and flexible situations.
Experience in process review and process improvement.
Key Skills and Knowledge
Ability to work across multiple retailer customers and deliver projects simultaneously.
Work with a determination to achieve challenging and innovating product ranges that provide us a point of difference verse our competitors.
Passionate and knowledgeable about food processing.
Exceptionally well developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate persuasively by addressing the needs and interests of others.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written including strong influencing skills. Capable ‘stand-up’ presenter.
Energetic, outward-going and good at managing both internal and external relationships.
