This is a great time to join Birds Eye part of Nomad Foods, Europe’s largest frozen food company. We’re now into our 4th year of consecutive growth and have a clear strategy to continue to grow organically, whilst pursuing strategic acquisitions and continuing to build a best-in-class food company. Birds Eye UK and Ireland accounts for c.£700m RSV, serving shoppers and consumers through all major Grocery Retailers and multiple channels including eCommerce, Discounters, Wholesale and Foodservice.

We have two exciting openings for Senior National Account Managers to join our growing Iceland team.  The successful candidates will be responsible for the planning and delivery of a growth plan for selected categories for Iceland within the Birds Eye portfolio (Bird’s Eye, Goodfella’s and Aunt Bessie’s).  You will utilise category and consumer insight to influence the customer and delight the shopper at points of purchase to achieve key business targets.

Some key highlights of the role include:

  • Development and management of joint business plans
  • Full understanding of business performance and key performance drivers
  • Development of profit-based account plans and budgets including identifying the customer’s key volume and profit drivers
  • Development of customer specific promotional calendars in line with the Corporate Calendar
  • Managing customer product mix and alignment with strategic brand and category guidelines
  • Updating sales and gross profit forecasts

We are seeking applications from National Account / Commercial Managers (Min 3+ years) with previous FMCG/Food experience (Top 4 grocer experience would be an advantage).   You will be able to provide evidence of driving and delivering category sales growth and the creation and delivery of a compelling customer JBP.  You have previous experience of managing/optimising a P&L and managing cost price increases.

You will be strong negotiator with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Gap training would also be an advantage.
