Are you able to identify opportunities to save cost and improve products that no one else does? We're looking for someone to enthusiastically and efficiently facilitate a CI plan working with suppliers to deliver outstanding results driving cost out of the end to end supply chain. You will be joining one of the best known premium food suppliers in the country who pride themselves on a superior standard of food and produce.
This is a superbly unique opportunity to lead the cost out agenda, working closely with the supply base by prioritising and identifying solutions to remove unnecessary cost and time without impacting on the quality and result of the product. You will then be tasked with influencing and working with the supplier in question to implement your solution.
You will also be liaising and supporting the internal teams in driving the collaboration forward from within the business and the outside - ultimately improving profitability.
In order to be considered for the role you will come from a strong operations and production background from either the fresh produce or meat sector and have some excellent Continuous Improvement implementation experience. It should go without saying that you come with exceptional communication skills and an ability to influence and inspire. Management experience of suppliers and internal teams is desired.
