Commercial Manager | Fresh Produce | Wholesale and Foodservice

We are working with one a Fresh Produce business who is making a real impact on the industry. Over the last few years they have experienced phenomenal growth in a competitive category, proving they are standing out and offering something different. They have huge ambitions are a looking for the right people to help them achieve this. They are looking for someone to help them growth within the Non-retail space, predominantly in Wholesale and Foodservice. So contacts across the UK with the various wholesale markets and foodservice aggregators (Fresh Direct, Reynolds etc) will be crucial. They are very open minded on the level of experience that someone comes in with. This could be someone with 10 years of experience and the track record (and salary) to prove their success, or it could be someone who has a few years of experience and is looking for a company that will give them more autonomy to go and deliver.

The Role:-
Depending on the levels of experience you can bring to the role, you will be working closely with the General Manager to set and deliver the growth plans for this area.
You will be working with your list of contacts but actively seeking out new opportunities to develop this further. They have a big appetite for growth and a brilliant infrastructure that can accommodate quick expansion.
The business have a great procurement and technical team and it will be important to work closely with them to ensure high service levels to your customers.

The Candidate:-
It is really important to have good experience in Fresh Produce within the customers described above. Without this, you will not be considered for the role.
You will be looking for an opportunity to work with a very progressive business and want to drive sales forwards and be rewarded for it.

The salary will be dependent on your level of experience, but they are very happy to reward progress and success. There will be a bonus that is linked to the sales you develop which will allow you to earn more throughout the year.
