A leading food consultancy and training business with a strong and recognised industry reputation are keen to secure a regulatory affairs specialist to lead this part of their business. 


 


Key responsibilities for the role include:


 
  • Leadership and development of the team ensuring all individuals can reach their full and team potential
  • Identify commercial opportunities for the department
  • Deliver interpretation and commercial application of food legislation and food law
  • Contribute to the range of services offered in order to deliver profitable growth
  • Process and project delivery
  • Act as the technical expert in the business for this area
 


About you:


 
  • Degree or equivalent in relevant science, law or associated subject
  • A recognised and established expert in regulatory affairs, ideally in the food and drink arena
  • Able to maintain knowledge and experience of advances in Regulatory Affairs
  • Proven track record of managing the delivery of legislative support services
  • Well-developed communication skills with evidence of successful team leadership and project delivery
  • Excellent commercial skills, able to represent the business with customers and as appropriate at externally
