HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

A key team member of the energetic category team with the ability to translate category performance drivers, consumer insight and shopper trends into retailer and shopper mission relevant category strategy, delivering tangible actions aligned to growth pillars that win for both Kellogg and the Customer.

Leading one of our top 4 accounts and engaging stakeholders to build trust and credibility, delivering actionable insights and category recommendations across store formats to enable the customer to outperform the market.

  • Communicate clear category performance drivers, both internally to Kellogg’s Lead Team and externally to the customer. Ability to turn insight and dissection of sales fundamentals (4Ps) into clear actionable recommendations.

  • Translate Kellogg’s Vision and the retailers’ strategy into a customer category strategy aligned to key KPIs across both businesses

  • Be the credible external voice of the shopper and consumer, building relationships and trust with the team and translating Kellogg’s vast insights into retailer relevant insight, learnings and recommendations

  • Be the relentless voice of the customer, ensuring internal cross functional departments have a clear understanding of performance drivers and challenges in the customer and what is needed from Kellogg’s for us to win.

  • Support wider Kellogg teams with detailed analysis to enhance brand knowledge and performance. Alignment of drivers and 4P actions which win for both the customer and Kellogg’s

  • Lead and influence with credible retailer recommendations on all 4ps from price and promotions to range and space in line with the retailers’ timings and aligned KPIs

  • Be a key stakeholder supporting and building Kellogg’s future channel strategies for the category which can influence the customers different channel strategies

  • Support the internal NPD planning process, inputting into distribution and placement targets to ensure we are stretching but grounded in the retailers range review strategy and objective

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Essential

  • FMCG experience to include experience of Category Management / Category Development

  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence using category sources (Kantar, IRI, Dunnhumby, I2C) combined with the ability to translate data into insight

  • Excellent communication, presentation & influencing skills with a proven record of delivery

Desirable

  • FMCG experience of account management
