An exciting opportunity has arisen to join for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Kirkham team at one of the UK’s most loved brands, Fox’s Biscuits; makers of the Party Ring, Chunkie Cookies, Chocolatey, Fabulously and many more.

The Supply Chain Manager will review and improve the systems used at site to control the material supply chain from ordering through to out loading finished goods. They will measure & improve performance within the supply chain at site. They will also manage the Warehouse and Call Off teams directly to ensure an efficient level service is delivered to site and manage the production scheduling on a weekly basis.

This is where you come in…

As the Supply Chain Manager you will review and improve the systems used at site to control the material supply chain from ordering through to out loading finished goods including SAP Management of Stock Taking, PSA clearance, MTO visibility and control, Write off risk management and communication, Receiving and dispatching of goods.

You will also manage the Call Off team and Warehouse teams across all shifts, so you will have experience in managing, motivating and effectively challenging teams from a previous position.

Along with providing robust 4 week plans in place, ensuring we are audit ready standards throughout the department. Along with ensuring Customer service targets are met by ensuring clear communication and efficient planning.

As the Supply Chain  Manager you will also be responsible for the Working Capital, stock control of raw materials, packaging and finished goods. Providing  daily reports to central on past 24 hours production and communication of customer service risks

About you

•Previous experience in a similar position

•Management experience preferably within a FMCG environment

•Good IT skills and SAP experience preferred

•Ability to run reports and present data.

•Presentation skills

•Stock control management experience

•Technical understanding of the operation and its main cost drivers

•Understanding of the main drivers of performance in terms of OEE, Waste, POW

•Understanding of all food safety and health/safety & environmental compliance requirements

•Experience of continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques

•Results focused mindset with good analytical skills

•Confident communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge effectively and professionally
