We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Shift Manager for our site in Scunthorpe.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Shift Manager to lead, manage and engage the shift engineering team. This role will manage Engineers on shift, these will be set performance targets during shift to achieve the KPIs. Your ultimate responsibilities are to maintain existing machinery and equipment across the site by undertaking PPM work and testing on a regular basis, as well as responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns ensuring down time and disruption is kept to a minimum. You will liaise with the Site Health and Safety Manager, ensuring H&S requirements are met during all work activities and that PPE is worn as appropriate. As you will be a hands on leader you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance schedule is achieved during the shift.

  • Be a fully qualified/time served Engineer
  • You must be electrically bias
  • Experience of being a Engineering supervisor
  • Have experience in food manufacturing (desired)
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with production
  • Be IT literate
