Shift Managers x 2 - Avonmouth, Bristol

The Real Wrap Co are a rapidly expanding food-to-go manufacturer based just outside Bristol in our two purpose-built factories in Avonmouth.

We produce over 10 million products annually, and supply universities, hospitals, schools, colleges, airlines and many more customers around the country. DAYS AN HOURS OF WORK:

  • Sunday-Thursday 0500/1430
  • Sunday-Thursday 1400/2300
  • Wednesday-Saturday 0800/2000

Purpose:

To ensure the smooth running of the site; overseeing all employees.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to contribute to improve processes and drive improvements. You will work autonomously to lead an entire shift, develop staff and implement new and improved processes into the manufacturing facility.

Duties include:

  • Demonstrate the highest standard of Food Safety, Health and Safety and always adhere to the company policies and procedures
  • Maintain discipline using performance reviews and where necessary disciplinary action
  • The development of all employees; encouraging continued good performance by motivation and praise
  • Working with Team Leaders to identify training requirements and liaise with production assistant to maintain training records
  • To identify improvements and problems ensuring that once identified, action is taken and completed effectively
  • To ensure all production paperwork is completed as per the schedule and once completed is then passed over for archiving scanning
  • Assisting Technical with any audits on the company – along with ensuring the completion of daily reports and /or paperwork
  • To cover aspects of the General Managers responsibilities in his absence through holiday or absenteeism             

Experience required:

  • Previous experience within a managerial position/ supervisory
  • Must have knowledge of all tasks that are performed throughout the production facility
  • Familiarity of a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience in leading a team and individuals to success
  • Excellent organisation skills, being able to prioritise, meet deadlines, multi-task and re-prioritise work and delegate
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, to build relationships at all levels and motivate a team to complete tasks from start to finish
  • An excellent customer service ethic and an aptitude for problem solving lending itself to resolving customer queries and complaints
  • Motivated & positive natural leader and 'Can Do' attitude
  • Targets and results orientated
  • This job requires an individual who can remain cool under pressure, has a keen eye for detail, can work
