Job Title: International Business Manager (Central Europe & Nordics)

Location: Home based with international travel 

Reports to: Commercial Director

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000, car allowance, bonus up to 20%, private healthcare and associated benefits including gym membership contributions.

Role Requirement: Must hold fluency in both German and English languages

**In order to be considered for this position you must have experience of new business development and direct sales within the FMCG industry to retail customers. Due to the nature of the role it is required that you will be travelling for 50% of your time throughout Europe. Only candidates able to commit to this travel schedule will be requested for potential interview**

Redfin Recruitment is working in partnership with an award winning, food and beverage exporter of British grocery products. From its UK  and international offices it services independents, convenience chains and major grocery customers throughout Europe. 

Due to the travel associated with this role full relocation to the company head office is not required, but ideally you will be present in the head office 1 or 2 days every 2/3 weeks with the rest of your work schedule either field or home based. It is expected that you will be travelling up to 50% of your time in this role to strengthen current accounts as well as develop new ones.

Overall Purpose of Job:

Grow sales and profit within your international region of Central Europe and the Nordics by developing sales within the company’s existing customers and bringing new customers into the business. The company’s customers will typically be supermarket retailers or distributors and will require empathy, commercial acumen, and retail comprehension from the post holder.

Accountabilities / KPI’s:

  • Financial Performance (Sales / GP) against budget
  • New Business Development (Sales / GP) against budget
  • Conversion rate (sales leads / customers)
  • Credit Management
  • Customer Service Levels
  • Knowledge of Markets and Customers
