Since forming in 2002, the company has gained considerable experience in handling a wide variety of products. Our customer base covers the multiples, traders, caterers, wholesale and other specialist trades.
About the role…
As the Ripening Manger you will manage and ensure that the Ripening teams operate efficiently and follow all company procedures and policies.
Assist in all Daily, Weekly and Monthly internal Audit and liaise with all Cross & Wells departments to ensure that quality standards, company procedures and policies are adhered to and ensure that all Ripening records are maintained accurately.
Control all Ripening colleague training needs and update training records regularly.
Ensure that all departments follow HACCP and food hygiene procedures.
Oversee Cleaning Operatives and ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to.
Control all customer label specifications and weekly alterations and communicate any changes in product specification and new product information to all the relevant departments and personnel.
Ensure that all Accidents and have been recorded and that reports are given to Health & Safety
Manager to carry out investigation.
Control all Organic procedures and records.
Update and help maintain the Product Management System.
Over viewing of the Ripening functions and procedures.
Reporting any quality problems/issues to the Audit Manager.
Support QA Manager in managing Warehouse QA and the Warehouse QA (Positive Release/Intakes)
