This is a new position, reporting to the Maintenance Manager where you will provide technical support to both the maintenance and project departments.
Your responsibilities will include identification of system optimisation opportunities through system data gathering and analysis, implementation of minor changes to existing systems to enhance performance and document changes, assisting in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, involvement in the validation and verification of process systems.
You will also support the maintenance department in identifying solutions to remedy ongoing processing issues, assisting with new equipment introduction and identify ways to increase Operational Equipment Efficiency (OEE) performance.
You will be a holder of a third level (degree) qualification in chemical engineering or equivalent and possess solid (ideally 3 years+) industry experience of automated manufacturing process. A background of working in liquid processing systems/food manufacturing would be an advantage. You will have a clear understanding of health & safety obligations plus a commitment to support continuous improvement.
The Process Engineer job is based in North Wales and is paying £30,000 - £32,000 according to individual needs and previous experience.
The core working hours are Monday to Friday, however some flexibility to cover out-of-hours will be required.
