Production Operative Perm Nights

Your Future:

  • You will be responsible for the set up and day to day running of the machine, minimising variability through knowledge and controlled experimentation.
  • You will pro-actively manage any potential problems.
  • You will monitor and work with the line metal detectors, handling any issues proactively.
  • You will record standard deviations and ranges.
  • You will calculate and control usage.
  • You will collect information from check weighers to calculate targets v standard specification.
  • You will ensure the effective control of product changeovers.
  • You will complete relevant process control sheets.
  • You will minimisation waste in all its forms.

Your Strengths:

  • You must have good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • You must be able to work under pressure.
  • You must be quality conscious with a keen eye for detail.
  • You must have good interpersonal skills, essential for this role.
  • You must have good numerical skills..
  • You must have two years’ experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of working in a packaging department would be advantageous.
