We are seeking a talented individual to join an innovative, high-quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK. You will join a friendly and supportive team with a fantastic and fun working atmosphere.

The job

As Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the call off and management of all stock delivered into the company to meet the customer demand and factory manufacturing requirements.

You will work with suppliers and 3PL providers scheduling deliveries into the company and 3PL warehouses plus develop partnerships with suppliers to deliver optimum cost, service and quality. You will also have line management responsibility for 2 direct reports.

Your experience

We are looking for an efficient and confident individual with strong forecasting, material planning or supply chain experience preferably in FMCG and most desirably food manufacturing. You will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical ability, good communication skills plus possess proficiency in Excel. You will also have ERP systems knowledge e.g. SAP, Access, Oracle, Microsoft dynamics. A degree within a relatable supply chain discipline is also highly desirable.
