Our client is a major player in fresh produce branded FMCG, with an established network of wholesale and retail customers. Due to continued growth, they are keen to secure an ambitious National Account Manager to join the business and manage their growing wholesale portfolio, identifying new opportunities and developing new business.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will have had some experience in dealing with wholesale distributors and an understanding of how the route to market area of distribution operates.
Responsible for handling the day to day contact and liaison with the customer, identify regional distributors, as well as developing a business development strategy to fully exploit wholesale business opportunities.
The successful applicant will be personable and tenacious, and have some FMCG exposure, alongside strong communication skills, and the desire and drive to make an impact to the sales growth for the business. This will include, taking ownership for turnover and profit, distribution points, promotional activity, category data and customer systems.

The salary is negotiable upon experience, circa £45-50k.
