We are working with a very innovative and forward thinking fresh produce business who are looking to add a new role to their already thriving business. They have grown massively over the last year and forecast another record year this year.
This role will see you not only learn the ropes within the Category team but also work very collaboratively with the Commercial, NPD and Procurement teams. You will be helping and supporting the development of a very creative and profitable category team, the basis of which will be managing the relationships with all customers and clients. You will also be helping develop and grow sales across the categories to maintain the increase in profitability and growth.
Aside from working closely with the internal team you will be monitoring competitors and taking an active interest in your categories and the developments in the sector to ensure you are on top of all news and developments. This will enable you to react appropriately to ensure the businesses is at the front of all changes in the industry. You will also get the opportunity to go out and visit clients in off site meetings to understand the industry and your role better.
The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Understanding of IRI, Dunhumby and any other marketing platforms will be a definite advantage.
Brilliant communication, Microsoft Office and relationship building skills will be essential for developing rapport with clients and within the business.
A great commercial awareness and the ability to analyse data for trends and notable anomalies.
