Job Details
Days – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
About the company:
- Part of a large European Manufacturing Group.
- Produce award-winning products that are sold by major retailers throughout the UK.
- Investing heavily across new production machinery and sites services.
The position:
- Take control and ownership of the engineering stores department.
- Responsible for purchasing engineering parts and materials.
- Enter purchase orders and invoice data in to a computer system.
- Set up engineering stores management systems from scratch.
- Ensuring stock is readily available when required by the engineering department
- Carry out regular stock checks.
About the Person:
- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably within the engineering stores department of a manufacturing facility.
- Conversant with PC & Microsoft systems.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
