Due to their continued growth, our client are now looking to recruit an International Sales Account Manager to take full ownership of the companies export portfolio. They currently export to a variety of continents but have plenty of opportunities for growth with current and new customers in these markets and further emerging ones. Their ambient food portfolio is vast and they have a fantastic offering to their customers.
You will be tasked with growing the export business, identifying potential customers, building relationships and delivering new revenue. The business already has an international customer base, therefore you will pick up these existing relationships and build on them. You will be a point of contact for these businesses and the face of their international business, hence all areas of supply chain for the export business will fall within your remit. Managing a small team, this will also be hands on, managing customer issues and maintaining the high standards and SLAs this business holds.
You must be hugely ambitious, driven and have a desire to be part of the bigger picture. You will have a clear understanding of international sales within the food sector and ideally a track record of success in growing sales. Having a second language would be advantageous but not a necessity.
The ideal person will come from blue-chip background, with a passion for getting out of the office and making things happen.
