Pricing Analyst’s primary role is to create and capture value using innovative pricing strategies. The position holder is a member of the Pricing Team that works closely with the sales & commercial managers in creating execute pricing strategies that ensure product and service profitability. The Pricing Analyst will leverage pricing analytics, competitive and market intelligence, win/loss information, customer trends, and negotiating strategies. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders, to translate data into pricing decisions.

Main Tasks:

  • Create and execute pricing strategies, using modern pricing strategies and techniques to capture value opportunity, reduce loss and expand into new markets

  • Involved in negotiations with customers

  • Implement and sustain a pricing committee, review pricing processes, models and tools by assigned business segment and channel

  • Train colleagues by introducing best practices and technologies from Cargill and outside of Cargill by proactively anticipating future pricing environments and trends, using data analysis tools to help internal stakeholders build pricing knowledge and insight

  • Track performance and value capture, anticipating and reacting to market changes.


  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (economics, business, finance) with preference for a focus in statistics and analytics

  • Proven working experience in any or multiple of the following; pricing, revenue management, sales, commercial management, supply chain, business development

  • Considerable knowledge of activity based costing

  • An analytical mindset and comfortable with complex financials

  • Details orientated able to assess information for accuracy and relevance

  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and written in fluent English

  • Strong computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel and SAP

  • Proficiency in using pricing tools such as; PROS, Zilliant, Vendavo or other modern pricing tools

  • Able to work effectively with other colleagues and on own initiative
