This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to provide administration support to the production manager, supervisors and production teams to ensure a safe and efficient manufacturing process.

Main Tasks:

  • Maintaining the production and maintenance records including daily production output figures and monthly production data

  • Collate employee attendance data including absences and holidays

  • Complete agency employees’ timesheets

  • Collation of microweigh cards and yield logs for the supply chain team

  • Ensure production record sheets are available too production operators

  • Use Actemium labelling software

  • Maintain and prepare documents for audits including but not limited to; calibration, cleaning, contractor and training records

  • Maintain contractor induction records ensuring annual refresher training is organized and the staff training matrix is up to date

  • Maintain the library of production standard operating procedures

  • Ensure protective clothing and equipment is in stock and reordered

  • Participate in any projects as required


  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade A-C (including Maths and English) or equivalent secondary qualification 

  • Experience of administration in a factory/ warehouse or other production environment 

  • Clear communication skills (fluent verbal and written English) with the ability to communicate with colleagues on different levels in the organisation

  • Self-starting with personal drive and motivation to proactively identify issues and deliver solutions to problems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including good Excel skills – experience with MRP/ERP systems, SAP would be strongly preferred

  • Able to work effectively under pressure and be comfortable with ambiguity
