As Shift Production Manager, you will be responsible for the hands-on management of a multi-skilled team to deliver operational excellence in accordance with quality and production specifications.
You will be responsible for the safety of both the team and working environment, achieve all agreed manufacturing KPI’s, deliver efficiency improvements in line with the business strategy, ensure all required production documentation is accurately completed plus train and coach the production team.
You will have a solid background of supervising/managing production staff within a food manufacturing environment plus be an analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills. You should be a committed and positive individual ideally with an understanding of LEAN and experience techniques such as root cause analysis. Food Safety and HACCP qualifications are also highly desirable.
The Shift Production Manager job is based in the South West region and is paying up to £30,000 + 10% bonus.
The shift pattern will be working Tuesday – Saturday, 6am – 3pm, however flexibility on days and working hours will be required as shifts will vary during peak/promotional periods.
