Planner and Stock Control Manager
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful FMCG Manufacturer in a newly created role. Reporting into the Operations Manager and with direct reports you will be responsible for the Planning and Stock function within the business

Planner and Stock Control Managers Role and Responsibilities:

Coordinate and expedites the flow of work and materials within or between departments accordingly to daily and forward manufacturing schedules.
Generate capacity, weekly and daily schedules for manufacturing using forecast information and the order book to deliver the most efficient use of labour and equipment and ensuring WIP is used within sufficient time.
Ensure resources are optimised to achieve standard cost and throughput parameters.
Communicate capacity and weekly plans to relevant departments, ensuring required work orders are produced. Communicate any schedule changes (including when not completed) immediately, amend schedules as required and communicate to customer service if the delivery date to customers will be affected.
Communicate with raw materials, packaging and WIP when are onsite for the schedule to prevent downtime and last minute schedule adjustments.
Data analyse on sales and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand.
Complete status reports for manufacturing progress and stock progress to ensure OTIF.
Control and minimum stock amounts where required/possible.
Monitor stock levels for Finished Product and maintain minimum stock amounts where required/possible.
Head planning meeting, liaise with purchasing personnel on availability and highlight any constraints.

Planner and Stock Control Manager Qualifications and Education Requirements
Experience within planning.
Ideally degree educated in business related discipline but this is not essential.

Essential Skills
Computer literacy in both company systems and a Microsoft Office environment.
The ability to multi-task and remain calm in a pressurised environment.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, constraints and costs.
Contribution to the team dynamic and success.
