Warehouse Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available with our Client; a Kent based Fresh Produce / Food supplier to retail, food service and wholesale sectors. We require an experienced Warehouse Manager.

Reporting to the High Care Manager, this Warehouse Manager position will be hands on and will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsibilities

Goods in and out

Manage stock control

Plan work rotas

Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilisation

Setting up systems

Required Skills and Experience

Expertise in management procedures

Strong leadership

Ability to manage staff

Excellent communication skills

Understanding of 5s or lean management

Proven ability to implement process

Hours of work:

Salary on offer; £27k

You will work 5 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday) from 7.00 am - 5.30 pm. However, flexibility is essential in order to meet the requirements of the role.
