A unique opportunity for a recent graduate to work within a top performing grocery retailer.
This business is based North West and provides market leading chilled food innovation solutions for a range of grocery retail customers. Although their site is North West this role will be an implant position and will be based inside the customer head office four to five days a week.
The business is the largest provider within their category and have been delivering growth by 10% plus year on year. Utilising all available data and information within the retailer the position of Supply Chain Implant will maximise inbound service levels, shelf life and in store availability whilst minimising in store waste. Key drivers will be to maximise sales whilst reducing cost.
This is a newly generated role bought in due to the strength of the relationship and will offer a great springboard to other roles long-term within the business including category management, commercial account management, supply chain management and demand planning.
This role would be a great opportunity for a recent graduate within a business, marketing, retail or food subject. A general understanding of grocery retail and/or food businesses and their operations would be advantageous but certainly not essential.
