Are you an experienced category professional? Do you work in the food industry and have experience in data insight? If so, this could be the role for you.

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading supplier of a variety of food products with a great reputation for quality and working collaboratively with their customers. They operate in a very fast paced arena and work closely with one another to ensure orders get to customers in full and on time. They serve chefs and restaurants on a daily basis and thousands of consumers eat their products. They have strong ties to the food scene in London (although they have a national reach) and pride themselves in serving some of the best restaurants in the country.

About the Job:

This newly created role will help our client with their ambitious growth plans. You will utilise your insight skills to identify commercial opportunities in the market, build a marketing strategy and deliver on commercial growth. You will work closely with NPD teams, Ops, Finance and Commercial to ensure plans are in place, and acted upon to drive the business forward. You will be able to identity real insight and create commercial stories/reasoning as a result of the data. Experience in the out of home channel / food service sector would be beneficial as data is harder to come by compared to food retail.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role and business will be hardworking, driven, a good communicator and willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into this role or where required. You will need to be able to show a track record of sourcing data and turning this into real commercial results. You will ideally have experience in food service or out of home and be able to make decisions on limited data sources. You will be able to run with ideas and insight to make this role your own. You will have a proven track record of working with NPD to develop products to fill any gaps and make the most of the latest trends in the market.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience in driving marketing and insight activities within a business based on data. You will need to be a passionate foodie with a track record of delivering commercial results through marketing and innovation.
