Warehouse Operative - Day Shift

£7.83 per hour + £0.30 per hour quality bonus

Based out of our Prologis, West Drayton (Heathrow) distribution site

Full-time, 40 hours per week with overtime options

The shift pattern is 5 over 7 days and the working hours are from 6am to 3pm

What you’ll do

• Maintain and complete your daily pick rate
• Ensure the accuracy of your picking with regards to the provision of the picking service package and that specifically all products being correctly picked, labelled customers’ orders
• Maintain a hygienic working environment by the clean as you go standard
• Provide good and consistent communication to your superiors
• Undertake any reasonable request which from time to time may be required as this job description is not exhaustible
• Responsibility for the hygiene and health and safety in your work area and others

What you’ll need

Experience of working in a chilled food environment - desirable

• Ability to communicate to line managers
• Flexible, supportive attitude, keen to run multiple tasks and hungry to taken on new challenges
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety
• To be able to pay close attention to detail, as well as the ability to work under pressure
• Has worked and is able to work in a team
• Basic Food safety qualification
• Basic Health and Safety qualification
• Must be flexible with the working hours
