Stock Controller

Our Client is a dynamic, fast-paced Fresh Produce Importer supplying a variety of customers, inducing the major retailers. We offer the opportunity of Stock Controller, to take responsibility for the management of stock within cold storage.

This position will report to the Operations Manager and will be integral to the effective stock management of products within cold storage to include;

Stock inventory checks

Manage stock movements

Allocation of stock, to ensure smooth production runs

Establish & maintain a count program for raw materials

Establish & maintain a count inspection program for racking

Manage and monitor product damages, shortages and overs

This position is a key part of the efficient supply of product to the customer and will require;

An experienced individual from a chilled product background

Stock management knowledge

Working knowledge of Food Safety Level 2

Forklift Licence, POEP Truck License and Reach Licence

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels

Hours; Monday - Friday, 7.30am start

Salary; Up to £27,500 dependent on experience
