What's your dream job?

I don't think anyone's ever grown up wishing to be a QA Supervisor when they're older. (Feel free to let me know otherwise.)

But if you've found yourself making a career out of the food industry and have a couple of years behind you as a QA, then this will be a good step forward for you.

Using the experience you already have, you'll be taking it to the next level by looking after a small team. If management is a goal of yours then this is how to get there.

You don't necessarily need to be a QA stepping up though. Perhaps you're already at this level but fancy a change. It's fast-paced manufacturing of short shelf-life products so it'll be challenging and there's a lot to be done around food safety.

Coming out the other end you'll have experience you can use pretty much anywhere.

Obviously as a supervisor you'll be the first point of contact for the team on any issues. So you need to be ready to take on that responsibility. Whether it's something you can sort out yourself or something that needs to be escalated, you're gonna have to be able to lead and make decisions.
