We are currently working with one of the leading, multi-disciplinary professional service providers based here in the UK. They provide a number of services across a broad spectrum to the rural & agribusiness sector. This business operates across multiple offices and is currently looking to add a board level member to its organisation that will oversee several crucial business functions which operate alongside the primary services that the business provides.

The Job:

This role will see the successful candidate managing not just the finance but also senior level staff of several crucial business functions across the various offices, this would include: Health & Safety, Finance, Administration, Compliance alongside IT, HR and Marketing. As this business operates across a number of sites, there will be regular meetings of the various heads of each office to ensure business strategy is on course. This is where you will represent the previously mentioned functions and take responsibility for the planning of each.

You will also be responsible for managing the Head Office budget, financial planning & reporting and providing accurate financial statements where appropriate. This role is slightly more of a financial role with the added management of several other business functions and would certainly suit a financial candidate from another professional service background.

The Successful Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you would have the following:
Extensive experience in either accountancy or financial management with either ACA, ACCA, CIMA or MBA qualification, or equivalent.
Experience of business management.
Experience in a professional service organisation across multiple offices would be an advantage.
Strong negotiating experience and relationship building skills.
Great communication skills across all levels and very Microsoft Office competent.
