Compliance Officer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful Fresh Produce business, who are seeking a Compliance Officer to join their energetic and passionate technical team.

The role will report to the Technical Compliance Manager and will assist them with developing supply chain standards to ensure raw materials are safe and meet all legislative and customer requirements. 

Day to day responsibilities:

• Review documents by supply base against all relevant pesticide and food safety legislation and procedures 
• Keep Supplier registers up to date
• Assist in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all Business Compliance Data Systems
• Process accurate collation, analysis and reporting data for technical targets and indicators 
• Benchmark performance within the sector and against similar organisations using national and regional indices 

We require;

Ideally Fresh Produce / Food industry exposure

A Graduate with a relevant Degree will be considered

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work to a high level administratively

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have a consultative and proactive approach.

Hours; Monday - Friday, 8.00am-  5.00pm, with some flexibility

Salary; Dependent on experience offered; up to £24k + Benefits
