Assistant Product Manager

A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Produce Importer and Supplier to the major retailers. Due to success and recent growth, we are now seeking an Assistant Product Manager on their behalf for their Fruit category.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the position of Assistant Product Manager will be based at a facility in Kent and will assist the Product Management team as required.

A hands-on, pivotal role working to ensure;

Preparation of residue, supplier and customer samples

Effective monitoring of shelf life and packhouse trials

Accurate input and publishing of QC reports

Stock allocations assistance

We require;

A QC / Quality Controller with experience gained from the Fresh Produce sector, ideally Fruit products

Knowledge of technical standards & product quality expected by retail customers

Drive, passion and dedication is key for success in this position

Analytically and scientifically minded

Salary; £20-22k dependent on experience offered

This role will work Sunday to Thursday, 8.00am - 5.00pm, with flexibility being key.
