Vitacress Salads are looking for an S&OP Leader, to join the S&OP Team. This new role reports into the S&OP Manager and is based here at SMB.
The primary purpose of the new S&OP Leader position is to enable the delivery of the team’s strategic imperatives through proficient database management and spread sheet analysis. These skills are a prerequisite as you will be responsible for understanding, predicting, and enhancing the supply chain processes. You will be responsible for assembling data, analysing performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations that support the Supply Chain Management planning and operations. We’re also looking for this role to drive and maximise sales, increase operating efficiency and to optimise inventory levels.
Working in collaboration and leading the team, you will analyse the movement of goods through the supply pipeline, monitor current processes, identify and analyse supply gaps and the develop process improvements. You will also ensure the timely delivery of the teams operational plan, you will oversee the ERP system, provide excellent customer support and advice; ensuring that the supply chain runs both smoothly and profitably.
The ideal candidate will have proven line and supply chain management experience gained from having worked in a supply chaing analytical position (e.g Demand Planner, Supply Chain Analyst, Procurement). Substantial Excel, SAP and IFS knowledge or similar ERP system dexterity is required. Knowledge and hands on practical experience of ‘end to end’ Sales and Operational planning methodology.
